ProMedica Health System Operations Director - ProMedica Transportation Network - Mobile ICU - Full-Time - Days in Toledo, Ohio
POSITION SUMMARY
The PTN Operations Director provides oversight to the ground teams and program strategic growth. The director coordinates the operations to include workflow and strategy components with the manager and educator support. Assumes twenty-four (24) hour responsibility including budget and coordination of quality care of patients. Leads the manager to assist staff to assure safe delivery of patient care within a multi-tiered transportation network. Assists the Medical Director with the administration of transport services in collaboration with the manager, specialists, medical teams, marketing, and ancillary departments to ensure comprehensive care to all levels of patients spanning the age continuum, including critical care and out-of-hospital. This director will collaborate with PHS executives in progressive strategic planning, program development, and marketing.
ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develops strategies and visionary objectives in coordination with PHS executives and leadership teams for the growth of the PTN operations.
Guides, supports, and evaluates the implementation of the strategic plan including the programs, policies, and procedures.
Manages an efficient and cost-effective operational medical transport. The elements incorporate metric monitoring, performance improvement reviews, and safety enhancement methods. Engagement, quality and finance.
Preparing and deployment of budget plan (including capital needs) to created financial stewardship. 1–3-year strategic planning including program development, assets monitoring and end-of-life equipment, vehicles.
Collaborates with the medical director and the leadership team to coordinate the development, implementation, review and revision of out-of-hospital protocols, policies, and procedures. Directs the quality and safety management process when concerns are identified.
Monitoring and data reporting for billing/revenue captures. Deployment of financial outcomes regularly to the executive team. Compliance oversight.
Responsible for contract management including associated vendors and partnerships. Monitoring contract compliance.
Incorporates industry standards, compliance, regulatory agency requirements to assure appropriate utilization
Promotion of safety culture and exercising a high reliable model of care.
Promote and lead a highly engaged leadership and caregiver teams.
Responsible for development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive marketing plan.
Oversight and assuring compliance with fleet management responsibilities. This incorporates tracking of fleet vehicles, maintenance of vehicles, equipment, and compliance. Sustaining a replacement asset schedule.
Disaster deployment training and implementation oversight in the event of a disaster condition.
Maintains connectivity with other hospital staff, leadership, and line departments.
Performs other duties are directed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business and work-related healthcare experience required.
Skills: Complete hospital/unit professional orientation. Recommend ground medical transport experience. Communicates in an effective, caring, and professional manner with all members of the multidisciplinary team. Reflects the mission and values of ProMedica Health System
Years of Experience: 3-5 years leadership experience, to incorporate operations, budgets, marketing philosophies, and strategic planning.
License: Must possess a valid driver’s license, able to travel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master’s Degree health care related field
Years of Experience: 5 years of leadership and experience in EMS related field.
License: Healthcare Licensure or certification in related field.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
Must be able to successfully pass pre-hire and annual physical exam, agility, and weight lift requirements as specified by ProMedica Transportation Network.
